Introduction

Vite is a new platform which attempts to support the latest technology in decentralized applications. It attempts to solve the issue of scalability and security through the implementation of a DAG ledger, an asynchronous structure and an innovative snapshot chain to heighten the security of the overall system. In this article however, we will not be addressing the technology of Vite which can be seen in numerous reviews and whitepaper summaries, but we will instead focus on the latest major updates of Vite to date with respect to both their short and long term goals.

Vite was listed with exchange OKEX on August 2. This will allow for individuals to actively trade and purchase vite if they were not involved in the private sale. Vite did not conduct an ICO and the only way to earn Vite before this listing was through active participation in the community airdrops if you weren’t fortunate enough to join the private sale. This listing will mean that members of the crypto community can now actively purchase vite tokens and become a part of the overall Vite ecosystem.

Vite Fan-club

Vite has released an exclusive fan-club where members can join and earn Vite through participation in community orientated activities and tasks. This club has been designed not only to reward some of the early and most active members of the community, but to also promote a healthy and driven overall ecosystem surrounding the project. Membership is highly exclusive however, and a minimum amount of vite must be staked in order to be applicable to join during the monthly opening for application to the club. This stake must then be upheld in order to be eligible for participation in the rewards and tasks. Membership is opened upon team discretion so keep an eye out on the latest Vite updates for openings into the club.

MXBank is the worlds first digital asset bank and has recently agreed to a strategic partnership with Vite. This is incredibly significant as it will aid the healthy growth of not only Vite as a project and its credibility but even moreso in the development of its overall ecosystem. The partnership will allow Vite to provide MXBank with invaluable technical support in banking development through Vites platform. Symbiotically,  Vite will be listed as an asset supported by MXBank thereby developing the circulation of Vite and its ecosystem.

Vite Block explorer and wallet released

Vite has finally released a preview version of their wallet alongside a block explorer. The preview versions will allow for individuals to work and understand basic functions of the project while providing useful feedback for the team to create further developments. No performance related optimizations have been incorporated thus far and the key aspects have only been shown so as to provide a basic feel for the overall system. This will slowly be developed over time through suggestions and feedback provided by the community.

Upcoming for Vite

Vite is currently operating ahead of schedule as a result of accelerated development in respect to both recruitment and project goals. The aim is to potentially have an initial testnet release before the end of Q4 2018 and possibly a mainnet dependent on community sentiment. Vite is also in development of multiple real-world applications including crypto-asset management, DEX and payments. These applications will grow the Vite ecosystem and enhance the overall versatility of the project. These developments will be announced through official channels as expansions are made. Such potential combined with additional strategic partnerships all point to a very bright future upcoming for Vite in both the short and long term.
